7 sessions from Thu 4 Nov 2021 [Show]
Forest School for Home Educated Children and those that Flexi-School.
At Woodland Nurture we offer a safe space where children can learn to problem solve, take turns, negotiate, collaborate, resolve conflicts, regulate their emotions, be creative and use their imagination.
Our code is Care for Yourself; Care for Others; Care for the Environment.
Our child-initiated sessions focus on the whole child with the aim to build self-esteem; core strength and coordination; resilience; confidence and friendships through SPICES – social, physical, intellectual, creative, emotional and spiritual development.
The children will spend the morning in the main area as part of a larger group. In the afternoon, from 1pm-3pm, this smaller focused group will have time to develop their Bushcraft skills, explore other parts of the forest and tend the vegetable garden.
The children will require a snack, a packed lunch and plenty to drink. We find that having the snack in a separate container to the lunch prevents them from eating all their lunch at snack time!
Policies are on the website.
Attached is a clothing list - please send your children suitably equipped to every session.
Also attached are All about Me forms. Please complete one of these and return it/bring it to a session. These forms help us best meet the needs of your child. Thank you.
